Mark Rowden – A Life in Lino Prints, Paint & Passion

Mark Rowden’s works capture modern moments, memories, and the quiet echoes of the past.
Inspired by everyday interactions, isolation, and fleeting beauty, Rowden constructs images that invite reflection and movement. His work draws from a deep well of technical mastery and emotional insight.

A master printer who has collaborated with many of Australia’s renowned artists, Rowden brings decades of experience to every stage of the printmaking process. Specialising in traditional relief printmaking techniques, he breaks down visual forms into bold, graphic compositions—carving shadows and spaces that speak to our shared stories of modern life.

His prints are at once intimate and universal—linked through symbolic language, personal memory, and a powerful sense of place.
